Not helpful when looking for specific brand names. Also outdated. Whole foods has confessed that there are gmos in a lot of their organic products. Organic DOES NOT mean GMO free

Ok, so the app is not too bad. It could be a heck of a lot better though. As mentioned by other reviews, the info is not updated enough and heres the kicker...,,,you cant access any link in the app that will allow you to "take action". What is that about? This app appeals to concerned citizens that most likely want to make a difference, but every option in the app to step up to the plate give a "no link found" type error. I even went to the web site directly and it even had issues. If one was paranoid enough, one would think there was some sort of conspiracy to stop the app user from "taking action". I know your gonna say "well there are More ways to take action" etc, but really, if your gonna make an app like this one, give us an easy way to help. In the end isnt that really what an "App" is supposed to do. Think about it!

I love the app and plan to try to get my local HEB to label their products with GMOs. Just one suggestion: Many of your comparisons use red and orange ink to compare things. It is just too difficult to see the difference. How about blue and orange? Or anything with more contrast? Thanks.

This app has outdated info. Even the "news" is ancient history. No credibility. Not what I am looking for, and I will delete it right now.

This is such a wonderful shopping tool. So much of the info I need all in one place! Love it, love it, love it!

This app has so much more info than I expected!!! The "Whats New" section is chock full of current articles about GMOs, super easy to use!!

It needs to be updated for retina display and for iPhone 5.. Everything else is great!

I love this app! Very informative! The review from 2012 is very misleading. Whole Foods sells non-organic foods but they make these statements on their website. Whole Foods Market is the first national grocery chain to set a deadline for full GMO transparency. Buy Organic. The USDA National Organic Standards prohibit the use of GMOs.

The best feature is the list of alternative shopping choices in each category. This app appears to be written for a cell phone rather than an iPad. The screens are too small for comfortable reading. The "Whats New" section is still a bit buggy. The news will list once, then if I scroll to the bottom, something goes wrong and the Titles vanish. I hope they continue working to improve the app for iPad, as it has a lot to offer.

I use this whenever I go to the store. I dont want to eat GMO foods and Im glad theres actually something thats able to tell me what food has it!

The fear of GMOs is contrary to the scientific consensus. Science tells us global warming is real, the earth is not 6,000 years old, and GMO are no more dangerous than the processes that farmers have used to invent tangelos (in 1911) and broccoli (in the 6th Century BC). This app is misleading by giving the impression its claims have a factual basis.

So if GMOs are found ONLY in corn, cotton, alfalfa, rapeseed, soybeans, and a single cultivar of yellow squash, why do I need an app to tell me that Mt. Dew and Fritos are crappy for me. Seems a bit lazy.

Dont let anybody know!! The more people that know, the worse it will be for us. Us as in the people who are smart enough. Keep the good food coming to us!!!!
